How to Get Started with Color Blocking
Recently, a reader said she wasn't sure where to get started with color blocking, but liked the idea of it. This post is my answer.
I suggest starting from scratch, for anyone not sure what kind of color blocking will work for you.
Try a lighter color with a darker version of it, like my own favorites: light olive plus a medium olive. Then, maybe two different colors, but not far apart, like camel and coffee brown. If that works well, then, try that brown with the olive.
If they all work, you can feel free to experiment a little more wildly.
If not, stay with the level of contrast that seemed to work best.
Have you experimented with color blocking?
See you next time!
My mission is to help you discover, embrace and celebrate your own beauty and style.
Thanks for dropping by! I'll see you soon.
