The Style FashionistaThe Style Fashionista loves fashion and style. She is the one most likely to have a subscription to style magazines, or find them online. She knows the latest trends and chooses which one she will wear. In fact, she may be the first one you know to wear them and may inspire you to give them a try because they work so well for her. She will often wear bold pieces and get compliments on her style. Are you a style fashionista? And as we come to the end of our look at this style personality system, were you able to find yours? A few days ago, I asked you to guess which style personality other than Pure Natural was part of my own personal style blend. Which of the other three do you think it is? See you tomorrow! Love, Jeanine P.S. Though I didn't dedicate a post to it, I want to mention that some women ignore style, and thus, don't really have a style personality. They may have a variety of styles hanging in their closet, because they bought what was on sale, are wearing things that were given them to them, or have a combination of clothes they have had since college and outfits they wear because they match their work's official or unofficial dress code.

LOL - I think your post-script described me. ;-) ----- I've never really looked to have a particular style, other than maybe... classic? (Because I'm not a fan of shopping for clothes.) I do appreciate your definitions, though, Jeanine! It makes me aware of all the work and effort and time and energy and money and thought that some have put into their choices. It's important to them. I can value how they feel about their choices. I always learn lots reading your posts. Thank you!

It's definitely a passion for some people, and not just the style fashionistas. But like you've said, others have different interests, which is totally okay.

Thanks, Amrita!! You know, I think for image consultants, there must be at least a wee bit of style fashionista. And I do love animal print! But there's another type that is even more a secondary type for me. :) Did you ever decide which one is your style personality?

I know I am NOT a fashionista. I think I need to go back and read your earlier definitions to see if there's one that describes "appropriate (for what I'm dressing for) + flattering + reasonably comfortable?" Maybe not! I try to put at least one piece on that lifts my spirits or says (to me, anyway), this is ME. Maybe not on trend, but it's my statement piece. Thanks!

It sounds like you might be a blend, Kathleen! Let me know what you decide.

OMG this is Lia and she's only 2 years old! She has to pick out her own clothes and she looks at each top to make she it matches her shorts or skirt. She has about 8 pair of shoes and even matches them to her outfit. Of course her pink sunglasses are a must when she goes out! A little up and coming fashionista!

This is certainly NOT my personality in style --- but I really need a friend who is! My "au naturale" style needs a boost! LOL

LOL! But Pure Naturals can be very stylish. In fact, it's fun to prove to a Pure Natural that she can look fabulous and still be completely comfortable.

I used to be this style personality. Then life intruded and I became a more classic and casual personality. Sometimes, I miss my fashionista self!

Awww! Well, she's still in there somewhere, biding her time until she's ready to burst back on the scene. :) When I was younger, I was much more this type, too!

Oh, that's so neat! I think it's wonderful when a mother and daughter are the same style personality, because it can create quite a connection. And lead to lots of fun shopping excursions. Eclectic sounds interesting! Do you think your style is close to any of the others we looked at this week?

My style personality is a cross between pure natural and creative original. I aim for comfort but I want to always have that alice flair. So I try to combine my clothes in different ways that show my zest and enthusiasm for life. As for your style, I see you as very well put together. Your clothes look comfortable but with a definite sense of fashion. Your colors match in a lovely way. I would say that you are a cross between pure natural and classic modern. You describe being thrilled about finding a tweed jacket to give to your mom. And I think that is a style personality that brings you much happiness.

Love it! That Alice flair!! It's so interesting you say that, too, because someone once commented on an outfit she saw and told me it looked like "Jeanine-Wear." I have loved the thought of it ever since. But actually, you and I have one more thing in common than you thought. I will write a quick post about that today and maybe tag you. Oh, and you're right - I was so excited to give that tweed jacket to my mother. More excited than she was to receive it, unfortunately! Maybe tweed was not her thing in spite of her classic style. But I have been known to cry when I find the perfect gift for someone! During the Christmas season when my son was 8 years old, I was at Pier One looking for extra gifts, because I had gotten the main ones already. I intended to get little gifts that they often had for $5 or less. But then I saw it - a cuddly, adorable green stuffed animal (that was his fave kind) half as big as he was, so he could hug it. I teared up and almost burst into tears right there in the store!! It still makes me happy to remember that Christmas.
