Welcome back, UBC bloggers! And hello, and nice to meet you, to anyone I haven't yet met. I'm an author and certified Christian image consultant. My mission is to help women who struggle to identify the colors that make them look their best, and who can't make style work because when they look at their outfits in the mirror, all they can see is their weight and their bellies (or hips, or other perceived imperfections.) I know I can make getting dressed a lot easier for them, and help them look in the mirror and delight in their own beauty and style. The way God does. God is spellbound by your beauty - Psalm 45:11 I'm looking forward to reading your blog posts this month!
Love, Jeanine

Together again! It's been a long time. Okay, a few days... but still... I look in the mirror and see too short... wait, I'm not growing any taller! I need fashion statements that show off my exquisite lack of height, lol

LOL! You know, it's interesting you mention that, Alice. Because the fashion industry doesn't like to include shorter women. And lopping off the hem is not enough. But there are ways to make sure you don't choose outfits that emphasize height or the lack thereof. :)

I'm looking forward to reading your blogs this month! Any sense of style I had flew out the window several years ago when I started gaining weight, so hopefully I can pick up some inspiration and some tips from you.

Thanks, Theresa! I hope they will be helpful. And there have been several times in my life when eight gain inspired me to abandon style, so I totally know what you mean.

Thanks, Jojo! I find that I don't do nearly as many videos as I have in the past, but I will keep that idea in mind.

I think we are all in an autumn mood right now. It has been a grueling summer.

I could certainly benefit from someone like you - not because of the imperfections I see in the mirror - I learned to live with them a long time ago, but because I have no idea about how to put colours together. I’ve been known to put a whole lot of mis-matched colours on at once, which is a bit hard on the eyes of those looking at me from the other side of me... I’m looking forward to your posts.

Oh, that would be so fun! Especially because I'm curious now about these wild outfits you describe. I also like to put color together that others might not think of combining. And I love mixing prints and patterns. But I, too, have gone wrong in my enthusiasm, and have had to figure out which ones work and which ones just will not, no matter how much I might want them to, LOL. So that's what we'd do together. I have 2 color combo posts you might like. Here - https://www.coloranalysisforwomenofcolor.com/blog/fall-color-palette-combinations. Jeanine, I knew you had a great eye for fashion styles and colors. But I am excited to see this new focus on color, and the certification as a Christian color/fashion consultant. I have a few biracial relatives who can use your advice-- especially the 13-year old. ❤️
