House Beautiful UK: Coordination and Flow

Focus on colour coordination, balance and a smooth harmonious flow from room to room. Although each space should always have its own "wow" such as an amazing light or a favourite print, try to keep a "thread" of connection between all the spaces,' explains Eileen Kesson at Envision Showhomes.

That picture is SO inspiring!! It is similar to what I have in mind for my living room and bathroom, color-wise. but it makes me want to add even more of that luscious, soft grey.

And maybe add some ivory and cream, which are lighter colors than the beige slipcover I have now and the beige color on the walls. Maybe adding the lighter and softer creams will soften the look.

And I love that orangey brown! Another color I have in mind for my own space. This article confirms I am right on the money.

Fingers crossed, I can bring my own vision to life!

Create mood boards from interior design magazines, fabric swatches and samples, and save interiors inspo digitally on Pinterest and Instagram. 'Buy an A2 sheet of white board for each room you want to design. On this, print off any ideas you have found online, any fabrics, furniture or finishes you want to use and then stand back and see if it all works together. This is exactly what we do in the studio to ensure the scheme works,' advises Jon Piling, at Abode, in the House Beautiful article..

    Hi, I'm Jeanine

I'm a Christian image consultant, and my other blog's focus is color analysis and signature style.

This is my lifestyle blog. Faith, family, hygge, home and me.

I'm really a lifestyle blogger at heart, so this blog gives me an opportunity to share all the other things that are important to me.

It's a more personal blog, really. And I moved recently, so I will be writing a lot about that.

    Thanks for visiting!
