Introduction to the Light Color Home
I love the beautiful, delicious colors that women in the Light color home can wear! They sometimes remind me of ice cream.
As I mentioned in yesterday's post, I love to suggest outfit formulas for each color home, and in addition to personalized outfit formulas, I give each woman an eBook with 25 or more outfit formula ideas, plus makeup suggestions, for her type. And the ones for the Light color type are just lovely.
How to Know if You're a Light
Always start by looking at your own coloring. If everything about your coloring is Light, then your best colors are, too.
When Light is the most important thing, then the darkest and brightest colors will overwhelm you. So if you suspect that you are Light, try those colors to see what happens.
Then, try lighter ones and take note of the difference.
Here is an example of a woman of color whose color home is Light, along with an outfit formula and makeup look that would be ideal for her.
So what did you think of the Light color home?

One reason color analysis can be a challenge for women of color is that color analysts, in the past, have been taught to believe that women of color are likely to fall into the deep seasons. I suppose that that is because their coloring is often deeper than that of Caucasian women.
But it's a mistake to assume that means anything, because it is each woman's relationship to other colors that matters, not how she compares to other women.
When you use color analysis - free of bias - to analyze a women of color's relationship to other colors, you'll find that they fit into every category.
Color Analysis for Women of Color
Because they have failed to get a fair shake for so long on the color analysis world, I am specializing in working with women of color. If you know my own color analysis story, you'll know that I was misdiagnosed when I was much younger and gave many years away to wearing the wrong colors because of it. I don't want that to keep happening to other women of color.
Have you ever been given the wrong colors, makeup or style advice?

3 Reasons You Should Consider Color Analysis
(1) The wrong colors change the way people perceive you. It's you but also "not you" that they see when they see you coming.
(2) You can't create a capsule wardrobe without choosing several colors to be its foundation. But you won't know what the best colors are, to choose, unless you know what colors light you up & make you glow.
(3) If you try to create a makeup capsule to match your wardrobe, but you're not wearing the right colors, then your makeup won't look right, either.
Have you ever been color analyzed?

I want to encourage you & help you uncover which colors make you shine the brightest.
And then, help you create the capsule wardrobe that will empower you to do just that.
